Sending LIVES
Tap Send on the Home screen to pay someone. The flow walks you through a few steps:
- Choose who to pay. You can:
- Scan a QR code with your camera,
- pick someone from your address book or recent recipients, or
- paste a wallet address.
- Enter the amount of LIVES to send. If your payment earns cashback, you'll see an estimate of the HIVE you'll get back.
- Review the details — recipient and amount — and add an optional note.
- Confirm. You'll see the status update live (pending → confirmed) and, once done, a success screen.
Duplicate-payment protection
If you try to send the same amount to the same person twice in a short time, the wallet asks you to confirm — "It looks like you're sending this twice." — so you don't pay by accident. You can always choose to send anyway.
Receiving LIVES
Tap Receive on the Home screen to get paid. You'll see:
- Your QR code — the sender scans it to pay you.
- Your wallet address, with a button to copy it.
- A Share button to send your address through any app.
Anyone can send you LIVES using your QR code or address.
Paying a merchant
Paying a registered merchant works the same way as sending to a person — and it earns you cashback in HIVE. The easiest way is from the Discover directory, where each merchant has a pay button that pre-fills the payment for you. See Paying merchants & cashback.
