Identity Verification (KYC)
Some features — most importantly buying LIVES with a card — require your identity to be verified. This is a standard compliance step.
Two ways to get verified
- Link your Próspera e-Residency — the fastest path. You're verified instantly, with no form and no waiting. See Próspera e-Residency.
- Complete the in-wallet form — a short guided form. After you submit, the team reviews it (usually not long) and you're notified by email when it's done.
The in-wallet form
You can start it from Manage → Credentials → KYC → Verify, or you'll be prompted when you try to pay by card. It has a few short steps:
- Your details — name and contact information.
- Documents — a photo of your passport or national ID, plus a selfie holding it. Make sure everything is legible.
- Purchase details — how much you plan to buy and how you'll use LIVES.
- Compliance — a couple of standard questions. Larger amounts may ask for a source-of-funds document.
- Review & submit.
Verification statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verified ✅ | You're all set — card payments are unlocked. |
| In review ⏳ | Your form was submitted; the team is reviewing it. You'll be notified by email. |
| Rejected ✕ | Something needs fixing — you can re-submit with corrected information. |
| Not started | You haven't verified yet. |
You can check your status any time under Manage → Credentials → KYC.
