Paying Merchants & Cashback
The Discover directory
The Discover tab is where you find places to spend your LIVES. It has:
- Vendors — local shops and businesses that accept LIVES. Each listing shows the merchant's logo, name and category.
- Partners — businesses offering perks and benefits to the community.
- Allies — allied organizations, spaces and events.
Use the search bar to find a specific place, then tap a merchant to pay — the send screen opens with that merchant already filled in.
Cashback in HIVE
Every time you pay a registered merchant, you earn cashback paid in HIVE points:

| Premium | 5% back in HIVE |
The cashback is calculated on the LIVES amount you pay and is credited to your HIVE balance automatically once the payment confirms. When you enter an amount on the send screen, you'll see an estimate of the HIVE you're about to earn.
Tip: Upgrading to Premium doubles your cashback (from 2.5% to 5%) and doubles all the HIVE you earn. See Membership.
