Cashing Out (Merchants)
This feature is for merchants. If you don't have a merchant account, you'll see an all-zero cash-out balance.
Cashing out lets a merchant turn the LIVES they earned from sales back into fiat (bank transfer) or USDC. It's the reverse of buying LIVES.
What you can cash out
You can only cash out the LIVES you earned from sales — not LIVES you bought. This keeps things fair (buying LIVES at a discount and cashing out at full value isn't allowed).
Your cash-out balance works like a ledger:
- Receiving a payment (a sale) increases it, after the point-of-sale commission (2.5% by default).
- Buying LIVES never increases it.
- Requesting a cash-out decreases it.
You also can't cash out more than what's actually in your wallet right now. The Home screen shows the split: the portion available for cash-out, and the rest (your working balance you can still spend).
Exchange rate
LIVES is cashed out at 1 LIVES = 1 USD.
Monthly limit
You can cash out up to 5,000 LIVES per calendar month automatically. Above that, the request is held for staff approval before it's paid. The limit resets at the start of each month.
How it works
- Within the limit: send your LIVES to the cash-out address, register the request with the transaction, and — once validated — it's paid out (USDC is automatic; fiat is a manual bank transfer).
- Over the limit: the wallet has you request first. Once approved, you send the LIVES and it's paid out. This way you don't send funds that would just sit waiting.
Request statuses
| You'll see | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Processing | Your transaction is being confirmed or is awaiting payout. |
| Pending approval | Held for staff review (over the monthly limit or over your earned balance). |
| Approved | Approved — you can now send your LIVES. |
| Completed | Paid out. |
| Rejected / Error | Not approved, or the transaction couldn't be validated. |
You'll get a notification when the status of a cash-out changes.
